Limited Liability Partnership Name

The name shall contain the words “Registered Limited Liability Partnership” or the abbreviation “L.L.P.” or the designation “LLP” as the last words or
letters of its name.
An application for registration is effective for a term of one year from the date the application is filed by the
secretary of state. The partnership may renew its registration for successive one year terms by filing annually an
application for renewal prior to the expiration of the term of the registration. A renewal application filed continues
an effective registration for one year after the date the effective registration would otherwise expire.
Please submit registration or renewal application, or articles of amendment, in duplicate along with the appropriate
filing fee.
Duplicate copy will be stamped “filed” (including the date) and returned.
The application must be signed on behalf of the partnership by a majority of the partners or by one or more partners
authorized by a majority in interest of the partners to sign the application on behalf of the partnership.
