The Small Business Administration  and its Office of Veterans Business Development wants to get the word out that veterans wanting to start or expand a business can seek additional financial assistance.  The SBA has $1 billion available to loan each year and the Department of Veteran Affairs is available to help veterans find help.  This includes assistance with training,  business development, and financial help.

The Center for Veterans Enterprise, a division of the Department for Veterans Affairs offers free business coaching, networking and outreach services to help veterans who own their own business.  This includes providing counselors who can assist veteran business owners in everything from brainstorming to answering specific questions.  The service is free to veterans.
