Who’s Friendly and Who’s Not

Ask the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council which states are the most supportive in terms of business and they’d answer South Dakota, NevadawyomingAlabamaWashingtonFlorida,  MississippiColorado  and  Texas.

Ask them who they rank as the least business-friendly states and you’ll get the answer: District of Columbia, New Jersey, California, Rhode Island, Maine, Minnesota, New York, Hawaii and Massachusetts.

The recently released rankings were based on an analysis of 29 major government-imposed or government-related costs affecting small businesses and entrepreneurs. To view the report in its entirety, go to www.sbecouncil.org.
