Starting business in California

Do you have questions about starting business in California? Do you know when you have to pay a franchise tax?

For example there is no minimum franchise tax for the first year, if you incorporated or qualified to do business in California on or after Januray 1, 2000, unless the entity is a foreign corporation and began doing business in a year prior which it qualified with the Secretary of State.
