SurePayroll Small Business Scorecard reported today that small businesses continued their hiring trend in January. The number of new hires appears to have doubled from December ’06. This was good news since hiring for small business had remained flat for most of 2006 — only jumping in December.
Salaries for small business also increased in January with the national annualized rate now standing at $31,519.
